THE IMPORT OF LAPTOP IN MY LIFE
As there is a saying that fish cannot live without water, radiance cannot be separated from a diamond, whiteness cannot be separated from a milk; so is my condition, with my Laptop.
As you will follow me ,you will come to know as why am I saying so.Why am I sooooooooo frenzied about the laptop.When I was admitted to the school a few months ago, as a graduate student, I literally knew nothing about the way the classes are conducted here, the assignments given and all. The country from which I have come, there is not as much as necessity of electronic media as here. So, I was of the opinion that instead of investing so much on laptop, why not make use of the facility provided by the university. Consequently, I used to go to libraries to get my work done.
But what do I notice here?The system there is so made that you cannot save anything in the library computers. To continue, if you feel hungry you cannot eat anything inside the library. Also, the library timings are sometimes subjected to a change. So, out of the many days of experience in the library, I thought that library is not the best place for the work to be done.
Also, the classes were picking up at a considerable speed in the school which certainly demanded a system to be with you at least for more than 12 hours a day.I was unaware initially that there would be not a lot of roadside shops and even if they existed they demanded transport. I only became acquainted with the online ordering systems gradually; as again; I was habituated to get the stuffs by manually going to the shops.
It was at this period that one of my friends, realizing the travails which I am taking, introduced me to the online process of buying things and helped me order my Laptop.
I am very very indebted to that friend of mine for doing this kind favour for me. He not only helped me in ordering the Laptop, but by getting it for me he saved my energy and time which I would have wasted if I had not got it. He saved me from having obligations from other people by temporarily borrowing their laptops.
Now, the information throughout the world is infront of me 24 hours. I can work at my pace and at my comfort. I can now shop online, order stuffs at home and browse continuously for hours. I can do my assignments sitting at home whenever I wish. I need not go to the library again and again and at odd times.The greatest issue of dependebility has been solved. I can even talk to my nearest and dearest who are not in this country using my LAPTOP at a very cheaper rate or practically at no rate at all. In this way MY LAPTOP has become one of the most integral, inseparable and the most credible part of my life.
